Last Thursday, the Lady Vikings Tennis team faced off the Woodgrove Wolverines in a home match. The top six line-up, composed of juniors Melissa Fairfax, Kara Vaillancourt, Lauren Pak, Charlotte Tuohy, Suchita Chharia, and Rachel Hall first competed in six singles matches. Then Valley’s doubles teams, Fairfax and Pak, Vaillancourt and Tuohy, and Chharia and sophomore Alexandra Millman, played their three doubles matches. While the Vikings put up a good fight, they lost to the Wolverines 0-9.
